  • Swissôtel Discover - A microsite to promote the three tenets of the Swissôtel: Vitality, Sustainablity, and Authenticity.
  • Swissôtel Discover Europe & Discover Asia Pacfic - Microsites to highlight hotels with special promotions related to Family, Weekends, and Suites.

Lerners LLP

A prominent medium-sized law firm in London and Toronto, Ontario

Developed: 2010 - 2013

Team: Hall Marketing Communications (now human Brand Experience Group)

  • Developed 12 responsive practice group websites with varying themes, along with a larger, unique corporate website
  • Added functionality as needed to a custom CMS which controlled and distributed content across the network of websites
  • Audited each website for AODA compliance and implemented recommendations
  • Consistently delivered advice to the client about user experience considerations related to new features
  • Used custom event tracking through Google Analytics to provide partners with better-than-default reports for the content they generated

Hall mc – CRM

Developed: 2010 – 2013

Team: Hall Marketing Communications (now human Brand Experience Group)

  • Created a web application for use internally at Hall Marketing Communications, which housed various tools related to measuring SEM (search engine marketing) performance and conversions
  • Simple reporting on-demand for quick access by the digital marketing team
  • Built as a response to inconsistent reporting; a robust server-side implementation which tied in heavily with the websites and landing pages we developed

  • Refactored, redesigned, and added functionality to the in-house content management system provided to clients for most projects at Hall Marketing Communications
  • Key improvements towards initial development speed, user experience, common user interface actions (sorting, toggling, etc.), and manipulating uploaded media

Western University – Exam Proctor Availability Scheduler

Developed: 2009

Team: Western University Web & IT Team

  • A stand-alone web application for exam proctors to schedule their availability for supervisory work with students who required their services when writing an exam
  • A challenging interface which stretched my skills in jQuery; lots of work with metas, large data sets, as well as saving data and changing state on the fly

Western University – CareerCentral

Developed: 2008 – 2010

Team: Western University Web & IT Team

  • Portal for students, career counsellors, and internship employers at Western University, with at least 30,000 users
  • Original ColdFusion back end work was completed by a colleague; I solved performance issues related to dependencies, and added functionality as needed
  • Complete re-work of the front end layout and graphic assets
  • Used jQuery in its early stages to create a better user experience during processes like internship applications, and administrative forms
  • Worked with Microsoft SQL Server within a large database; learned about stored procedures, database performance pitfalls
